Q: Do I have to pay to register an account on eBookBay.com?
No. Registration is completely free.

Q: I don't have a PayPal or AlertPay account. Can I still register on eBookBay.com?
Yes. We do not require a PayPal or AlertPay account in order to register on eBookBay, but we do require a PayPal or AlertPay account if you would like to redeem your eBookBay earnings.

Q: Can I purchase an eBook without registering?
Yes. You do not need to be a registered member in order to purchase eBooks from eBookBay.com. After purchasing an eBook, you will be directed to the download page where you can immediately download the eBook. The download link will also be sent to your (PayPal) email address.

Q: eBooks, e-books, E-books - they're all the same thing, right?
Yes. These are just various spellings to describe an electronic / digital book.

Q: I have encountered a website glitch/bug! What do I do?
Please report it immediately by contacting us here and one of our technical experts will get to it.

SELLING

Q: Are there any listing fees?
No. Posting a listing on eBookBay.com is completely free.

Q: Do you take a commission from each sale?
Yes. We take a tiny commission from each sale. Please view our Pricing and Fees page.

Q: Do I have to pay my sale commission fees separately?
No. This is automated. Whenever you sell an eBook, your account will automatically be credited with the net profit.

Q: How do I get paid?
Each time a sale has been made, your eBookBay sales balance is updated. After your sales balance has reached the minimum of $10, you may request to withdraw your earnings to either PayPal or AlertPay.

Q: Do I retain the rights to my own eBook?
Yes, it’s your eBook. We just provide a venue to sell it.

Q: What format does my eBook file have to be?
We currently support PDF, (Microsoft Word) doc, docx, ePub, and txt format files.

Q: Do I have to email the eBook to the buyer?
No. During the listing process, you are required to upload the eBook to the listing. This way, the buyer can download it immediately after purchase.

Q: I have an eBook that I want to sell. I'm not the original author, but I have the rights to sell it. Can I sell it on eBookBay.com?
Yes. As long as you have the rights to sell it, you may list it for sale on eBookBay.

BUYING

Q: What payment method(s) do you accept?
We currently only accept PayPal for buying eBooks.

Q: Can I purchase an eBook without registering?
Yes. You do not need to be a registered member in order to purchase eBooks from eBookBay.com. After purchasing an eBook, you will be directed to the download page where you can immediately download the eBook. The download link will also be sent to your (PayPal) email address.

Q: Does this website sell books I will receive in the mail?
No. This website sells intangible, eBooks (digital files) that you will be able to download and read on your computer.

Q: How long will it take for me to receive the eBook after purchasing it?
You will be able to download the eBook instantly after purchase.

Q: How can I leave a review for the eBook I've purchased?
Navigate to the "My Orders" section and click the "Rate / Review" link. You will be directed to the eBook's listing page where you have the option to submit your review.

Q: I don't like the eBook I purchased. Can I get a refund?
eBookBay does not offer refunds for eBooks that buyers are unsatisfied with. Buyers acknowledge that they purchase eBooks are their own risk.

Q: eBookBay just gave me a refund! What happened? I thought you said you don't offer refunds?
eBookBay is not obligated to tell the buyer why a refund has been issued. It is, however, most likely due to an illegitimate transaction attempted by the seller.
