In our efforts to make eBookBay.com a better place for buying and selling eBooks, we have added two new features to the website.

1. “Buy Now” Link and Button Image Code Added

Ever wanted to sell your eBook on other websites and not just have it limited to eBookBay? Well, now you can!

Each listing posted will generate a unique “Buy Now” link and button image code. This allows eBook sellers to sell their eBooks on any website, forum, or blog.

This is an example button image code:

Simply copy and paste the code provided in the listing to your website of choice, and buyers will be able to purchase your eBook instantly without having to register on eBookBay. The buyer’s payment is sent straight to your eBookBay account.

2. We now offer AlertPay as a payout method

We had multiple requests from users requesting to use AlertPay as an additional payout method. We now offer the ability for sellers to redeem their earnings via AlertPay.

In the beginning, we took a hefty 25% from each transaction, so we bumped it down to 20%. Well, after hearing from many people that it was still too high, we have decided to bump down our commission rate once more.

We will now take only $0.49 + 9% from every sale you make.

This commission fee applies ONLY to when you sell an eBook successfully.

For example…let’s say you sell a $10 eBook.

After $0.49 + 9% of $10, you are left with $8.61 in profit.

The winner of this contest will receive a cash prize of $100.00 USD. Payment will be handled via PayPal only. If you do not have a PayPal account, it is recommended you register one for free at http://www.paypal.com.

Rules and Requirements:

• Only eBooks sold on the eBookBay.com marketplace are counted towards this contest.
• Only eBooks priced and sold at $5 (or more) will be counted towards this contest. This means that eBooks sold for less than $5 are not counted.
• All eBook purchases and sales will be thoroughly reviewed.

UPDATE: Due to the lack of contest participants, we have decided to postpone the end date.

We decided to change our commission rate from 25% to 20%, as well as our minimum balance to withdraw from $20 to $10.

That means that as an eBookBay seller, you will now earn 80% for every eBook sold. And you will no longer have to wait until you earn $20 to withdraw your earnings – just $10!
